Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Rose Door to Door Shipping and Delivery Service, operated by KasaBazaar Limited ("we", "us", or "our"), is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our shipping and logistics services.

RDD Shipping is the freight logistics arm of the KasaBazaar Group of Companies. This policy covers RDD Shipping only. The group's other companies are separately operated and publish their own privacy policies on their own sites — see section 3a below.

By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us and information gathered automatically when you interact with our platform.

a) Personal Information You Provide
  • Full name, phone number, and email address
  • Your mobile number and consent to receive SMS notifications, captured when you book a shipment
  • Sender and recipient addresses (in the USA and Ghana)
  • Shipment details: item description, weight, dimensions, and declared value
  • Payment information processed through our payment partner (Paystack)
  • Feedback, complaints, and messages submitted via our contact and feedback forms
b) Information Collected Automatically
  • Browser type, IP address, and device information
  • Pages visited and time spent on our website
  • Referring URLs and general geographic location

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To process, manage, and track your shipments between the USA and Ghana
  • To communicate with you about your shipment status, invoices, and receipts
  • To send SMS/text message notifications about your shipment status and payments, where you have opted in
  • To process payments securely via our payment processor
  • To respond to your inquiries, complaints, and feedback
  • To generate shipping labels, packing slips, and delivery documents
  • To improve our website, services, and customer experience
  • To comply with legal obligations applicable in Ghana and the United States
a) SMS / Text Message Notifications

When you book a shipment, you may provide a mobile number and opt in to receive SMS (text message) updates about that shipment. If you opt in, we send automated transactional messages triggered by activity on your order — such as booking confirmation, pickup, departure, customs and container clearance, out-for-delivery and delivery confirmation, payment receipts, and tracking-number updates.

  • Consent: SMS updates are sent only to numbers that opted in during booking. Opting in is not a condition of using our services.
  • Message frequency: Varies with shipment activity — typically 3–10 messages over the life of a shipment.
  • Rates: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Opting out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance. You may also contact us using the details in section 12.
  • Providers: Messages are delivered through our messaging providers, Twilio and Arkesel, acting as data processors on our behalf.
  • No sharing: Mobile numbers collected for SMS notifications, and your opt-in consent, are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or other group companies for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

3. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted partners such as payment processors (Paystack), SMS/messaging providers (Twilio, Arkesel), logistics partners, and warehouse operators strictly for fulfilling your shipment.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or government authority in Ghana or the United States.
  • Business Protection: To protect the rights, property, or safety of KasaBazaar Limited, our customers, or the public.
a) Sharing Within the KasaBazaar Group of Companies

RDD Shipping is one of four companies in the group. The others are:

We share personal data with these companies only where there is a specific operational reason, and only the minimum needed:

  • KASAROSE passes us recipient names, delivery addresses, phone numbers and parcel details for the marketplace orders we carry, and we return tracking events so shoppers can follow a shipment. Data about a KASAROSE order that we did not carry stays with KASAROSE.
  • Neoride Africa receives recipient name, address and phone number where its riders complete a last-mile delivery on our behalf in Kumasi and Ejisu.
  • KasaBazaar provides shared corporate functions — finance, accounting and group-level customer support — and its staff may access shipment and payment records for those purposes.

Each company is responsible for its own use of the data it receives. Marketing lists are not shared between group companies, and we do not track you across the group's websites.

4. Payment Information

All payment transactions are processed through Paystack, a secure third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Please review Paystack's privacy policy for information on how they handle your payment data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining shipment records for accounting, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. Shipment and financial records are typically retained for a minimum of seven (7) years in accordance with applicable laws.

6. Cookies

Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience and analyse site traffic. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some features of our website may not function properly without cookies.

7. Security of Your Information

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Objection: Object to certain uses of your information.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

9. International Data Transfers

Our operations span the United States and Ghana. When you use our services, your personal information may be transferred between these countries. By engaging with our services, you consent to this transfer. We take steps to ensure your data is handled with the same level of care regardless of where it is processed.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
